Student Council: Student Council is the student governing body of THS.  The Student Council body consists of 5 executive board members as well as 4 elected officers from each class and a staggered amount of representatives from each class.  Executive board members and class officers must maintain a GPA of 2.3 and representatives must maintain a 2.0 average.  Officers are elected each spring and representatives are selected based on their involvement in Student Council and their class.  Freshmen elections are held in the fall and representatives are also chosen at that time.  Student Council is a service organization that is dedicated to not only making Truman a better place, but also our community.

Year Book: Yearbook is a club where students come together to form a book of high school memories.  This is a class that you must sign up for when selecting classes.

Honor Society: The Truman National Honor Society highlights outstanding students in the Truman student body.  Students must have a 3.5 or better at all times.  Membership is available for second-semester sophomores or upperclassmen.  The selected students are judged on leadership, service, and character in addition to academics.  The induction ceremony is in the Spring.

Youth in Government: Youth in Government is a nationwide program sponsored by the YMCA.  It is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the creation and passage of legislation, and in the administration of government as a whole.  Each spring, Michigan students spend a weekend in Lansing.
