Current Issues in Parenting

The Parenting Doc Blog  Provides several articles each week about the latest parenting programs and issues, and about the latest research and advocacy efforts to make effective parenting and parenting education priorities in the United States.

Included is a special series of articles on efforts that have been made, and are currently being made, to involve the President of the United States and other elected officials as champions for effective parenting and parenting education.  The series is titled, Parenting and the President.  It covers prior efforts with the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations to encourage them to support an Effective Parenting Initiative, and current efforts with the Obama administration to institute a four-part National Effective Parenting Plan.
